Ordering & Shipping Information
Orders can be made online using our secure shopping cart or by email.
How to order online:
- Find the product you are looking for by browsing in our online store and choosing a category or using the search engine.
- Once you have found a product you wish to order, click on it. Enter the quantity you want to buy
- Click “Add to Cart” to add the product to your shopping cart.
- If you wish to continue shopping, click on the “Continue Shopping” button which will take you back to our online store.
- At any time, you can review your order by clicking on the “View Cart” button, and edit any of your information.
- When you have finished shopping, click the “Checkout” button. You will need to select your method of payment by credit card, and enter your billing and shipping information.
(This option is not available for PayPal orders)
- Download our order form and fill it out with the products you wish to order, or select the products using the online method.
- Fill in the missing information - billing and shipping information, and your credit card information.
- Email the order form as an attachment to sales@challengingminds.com
How to order by purchase order (for schools, educational & health related institutions only):
Purchase orders can only be accepted after an account application has been filled out and approved. Please contact us to receive the application by phone at 647-220-6995 or by email at info@challengingminds.com. Once the application has been filled out and approved, follow the steps below to place your order.
- Find the product you are looking for by browsing in our online store and choosing a category or using the search engine.
- Once you have found a product you wish to order, click on it. Enter the quantity you want to buy
- Click “Add to Cart” to add the product to your shopping cart.
- If you wish to continue shopping, click on the “Continue Shopping” button which will take you back to our online store.
- At any time, you can review your order by clicking on the “View Cart” button, and edit any of your information.
- When you have finished shopping, click the “Checkout” button. You will need to enter your billing and shipping information.
- Under "Method of Payment" choose Purchase Order. We will get your order automatically. You have the option to print out your order by going to the invoice screen.
- Select the "Print" option and print it out. We're sorry but faxing is no longer an option.

Orders are processed and shipped within two business days of purchase.

International – Varies
Shipping Rates:
Canada (Regular Parcel) - $6.95 for Ontario & Quebec; $7.95 all other provinces
Free Shipping in Canada for all orders $69 or more (pre tax)
Canada (Xpresspost) - $14.95
Orders over $69 (before tax) receive free shipping within Canada
PLEASE NOTE: Due to additional fuel levies, the following change has been made for our U.S.A. Orders:
United States (Canada Post/USPS) - Base shipping is $9.95 plus $1.95 for each item
United States (UPS) - $24
International - Exact shipping rates for international orders will be confirmed with the customer prior to shipping. Please contact us for estimates.

Canada (Xpresspost) 2 business days
United States (Canada Post/USPS) 5 – 12 business days
United States (UPS) 3 – 5 business days
International 3 – 15 business days
Please note that the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST - where applicable) will be added to the shipping costs of all Canadian orders.
Track your order – You will be sent an order tracking number to your email once your order has been submitted. Then, log on to the carrier’s site (Canada Post, Xpresspost, UPS), and keep track of your order as it makes its way to you.
Taxes, Customs and Duties:
All customers in Ontario pay the 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) on items that are not tax exempt. Examples of these items include DVDs and computer software.
Books are exempt from PST and the provincial portion of the 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST). The HST is currently applicable to customers in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland.
There is no GST or PST payable on items shipped outside of Canada. However, these orders may be subject to customs charges and local taxes once they reach your country.
Challenging Minds cannot estimate and does not collect any duties and/or taxes that the customer may be responsible for. The customers receiving the shipment from Challenging Minds are responsible for paying any of these additional fees upon receipt of the goods. For more information on customs and duties charges, please contact your local customs office.
Please note: No order will be shipped until credit card approval has been obtained.
