Seasons
The seasons affect everything we do. We change our clothes and activities according to the weather and time of the year. When a child understands what lies ahead, he is able to participate and prepare for the upcoming activities. Children feel more secure when they understand how they will be affected and what's expected of them. Examples include wearing sandals and swimming in summer, trees blossoming and going for walks in the spring, dressing warmly and snuggling under the covers in winter, and leaves changing color and wearing long sleeves in the Fall.
